Essential Functions
1. Responsible for mechanical design of various machined/sheetmetal parts, using Pro/Engineer Wildfire 3.0.
2. Create production drawings using ASME Y14.5M-1994 GD&T standard.
3. Create Bills of Material (BOM).
4. Interact with various fabrication shops and help customer procure parts.
5. Support customer's manufacturing with assembly.
6. Support customer's design documentation process (Engineering Change Orders, etc.).
7. Support the technical/product manual writing process.
8. Other duties delegated by the supervisor.

Qualifications
Education:
Associate degree in mechanical drafting/design.

Experience:
♦ Min 2-5 years of practical industry experience (semiconductor capital equipment or equivalent a plus)
♦ 1~2 years minimum experience operating Pro/Engineer.
♦ Machine shop, sheetmetal shop, or semiconductor fab experience a plus.

Other Qualifications:
♦ Must be a detail oriented individual.
♦ Ability to work with others in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
♦ Strong verbal & written communication skills.
♦ Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
♦ Knowledge in DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
♦ Knowledge in SEMI S2, S8, and other standards a plus.

Other Requirements:
♦ Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment, this includes wearing protective clothing.
♦ Domestic and International travel may be required.
