Novoto successfully executes a high precision LCD assembly equipment design/build project.

Novoto completed the first phase of the precision LCD assembly equipment successfully. Design involved selection of a high precision XY linear motor stage and motion controller/amplifier, optomechanics, selective remote compliant coupling (RCC) mechanism, vibration analysis, UV optical fibers, and industrial controls. Novoto worked with customer's industrial control, UV fiber optics, optics experts, and software/electrical/mechanical engineers throughout the entire design/build phase.

The equipment was designed/built/tested in three months from scratch and the fact that the design requirements were driven by products already designed by the customer made it even more challenging. Novoto assisted the customer at every step, including procurement of parts. Everyone worked together so incredibly and it was a huge success. Novoto is very thankful of extension of the contract for the next phase.
