Novoto makes inroads into the photovoltaic industry.
Novoto received a contract from a leading thin film photovoltaic manufacturer. This is one of the hottest markets today and will become increasingly important going forward. The tool sets are very similar to those used in the semiconductor or flat panel industry and this is a huge advantage for someone who has been in those industries well over a decade, developing highly customized machines.
This is the field Novoto really believes in and is very excited about helping the technology become a real solution to our country's growing energy needs. We have 5% of the world's oil and we consume 25% of the world's demand. It is clear that more drilling without having an alternate clean energy source is not a solution to the energy problem.
