Novoto received orders for two more machines.
Novoto received orders for two more machines involving automated optical inspection from an existing customer. These machines are used to bin optical components. They will be designed from scratch.
Currently, human operators are performing the same task. While operators are very good, it is a time consuming/tiring process which can result in inconsistency. Incorporating machine vision can simplify and speed up the process drastically, saving money. The short return on investment (ROI) could easily justify the cost of the machine.
