WARRANTY REPAIR

Before you can return your warranty product for repair service, you must first contact our Customer Support department to diagnose the problem.

Do NOT ship anything prior to obtaining an RMA# as the package will be refused.

OUT-OF-WARRANTY REPAIR

All out-of-warranty units will be evaluated by a technician prior to rework. A price quote will be provided and a Purchase Order (PO) must be received before starting the repair work.

RMA Procedure

Step 1: Obtain an RMA number

Send the RMA request form to rma@novoto.com or fax to 512-233-0705. You may also call 512-297-3756. When calling, be prepared to provide the following information:

ï Organization name, contact person, and phone number
ï Bill-to and Ship-to address
ï Serial and part number of the item
ï Specific reasons for return
ï If the return is for repair, provide a complete description of the problem.

Step 2: Ship product to Novoto

Please ship the unit in appropriate packaging for safe transport such as the original package or equivalent. Novoto is not responsible for damages that occur during shipping. Customers may be billed for repairs caused during transport even if the unit is under warranty.

Clearly mark the RMA number on the package, preferrably directly on the shipping label. If the unit was exposed to chemicals, the customer must ensure that the unit is properly decontaminated and safe. If the unit has come in contact with any hazardous material, you must include a copy of the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) and comply with all relevant safety regulations.

The RMA number is void if the product is not received within 30 days of issuance.
